How it works

How danger.id actually helps

Three tools, one goal: help you find the gaps in your workplace safety before they turn into an incident or a citation.

1. Describe your workplace

The free hazard identifier asks a handful of plain questions — what setting you're in, roughly how many people, whether anyone works above ground level, and what the main activity or concern is. No jargon, no login required.

2. Get a plain-English hazard scan

Based on what you describe, the tool surfaces the hazard categories that most commonly apply — fall protection, hazard communication, machine guarding, and so on — along with a short explanation of why each one matters for your setting.

3. Take the next step that fits

Depending on what you need, that might be downloading the free OSHA Workplace Safety Checklist, browsing an industry guide, picking up the right PPE through one of our vetted Amazon links, or messaging our team about training or bulk supply. There's no pressure to pick a specific path — the tools exist to help you see clearly, not to sell you anything you don't need.

What this is not

The hazard identifier and chat assistant give general, educational information based on common categories — they are not a certified workplace inspection and don't replace a qualified safety professional. If you've had an incident, received a citation, or need a defensible compliance record, that calls for a real inspection, not a self-service tool.

General information only, not legal or certified compliance advice. We are not a law firm or licensed safety consultancy.
